Quality Inspector

Role Overview: You will be a Quality Inspector at CRA, responsible for ensuring that the products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your role will involve hands-on inspection, documentation, and coordination with production and engineering teams across the Energy and Defence sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies. - Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions. - Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. - Identify, document, and report non-conformities. - Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. - Assist in maintaining calibration records and inspection documentation. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, and Lean. - Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams to ensure compliance. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering OR relevant technical certification. - Basic understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes. - Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques. - Ability to interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings. - Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is a plus. - Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or quality software is an advantage.
