Job Description

Role & responsibilities Devise, establish & review company's quality procedures, standards and specifications. Review customer requirements and make sure they are met. Work with Procurement team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers of RM, PM, Chemicals, consumables etc. Set standards for quality of RM, in-process & FG in line with customer requirements and industry norms. Upgrade Quality Systems to meet out national / international quality norms and customer audit requirements. Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency of operations by in-process & final quality controls. Set up and maintain quality controls and documentation procedures as per standard. Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, analysing them and produce statistical reports. Review existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements along with process for implementing them. Measure performance and identify areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements. Liaise with other managers and staff and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards. Assess the effectiveness of changes made & generate reports. Make sure the company is working as effectively to keep up with competitors. Identify gaps in competence of department staff, plan & execute trainings to them to upgrade their competitiveness. Preferred candidate profile Supervising Chemical Analysis, Documentation, GLP,GMP, SQC, ISO-9001 & BIS analysis procedures Good Communications, Co-ordination, Time Management. Ready to accept the Changes & challenges Additional Skill Set Knowledge of Instruments Like GC, KF, Halogen, HPLC & IR Moisture Analyser, Hardness tester, Melting Point Analyser, COD & BOD Analyser. Knowledge of Conventional & Instrumental methods of analysis of Pesticide & fumigants. Knowledge of preparation of Chemical standard. Knowledge Calibration, standardization & Verifications of chemical and Instruments
