Quality Executive

As an experienced Quality Assurance professional in the food packaging industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for products at a UK-based leader in sustainable packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular quality control checks and measurements during production to ensure products meet specified qualities, incorporating Total Quality Management (TQM) principles. - Utilize various testing instruments and methods to assess physical and chemical properties of paper and its products, including thickness, density, tear strength, and burst strength. - Monitor and adjust parameters during the papermaking process to maintain consistency and optimize performance. - Inspect raw materials such as pulp, fibers, and chemicals to ensure quality standards are met for paper production. - Review and improve QA procedures regularly to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize operational efficiency. - Adhere to industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001:2000, to ensure quality and safety. - Utilize data analysis from online systems and web inspection systems to analyze roll quality and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications Required: - Experience in Quality Assurance within the Paper Mills, Paper Conversion, or Food Packaging industries. - Strong knowledge of quality control processes, testing methods, and compliance standards. - Excellent analytical skills and the ability to optimize manufacturing procedures. - Familiarity with ISO standards and regulations in the paper industry.
