Role Overview

QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute

  manual test cases

  for web, API, and mobile applications
• Develop and maintain

  automated test scripts

  using tools like

  Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or PyTest

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify, reproduce, and track bugs

• Implement CI/CD test automation

  pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Maintain

  test documentation

  , including RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix), test reports, and bug logs
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum

  2 years of QA experience

  (manual + automation)
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle

• Experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Postman / JMeter

• Working knowledge of JavaScript / Python / Java

  for test automation
• Familiarity with

  REST API testing tools

  and

  test frameworks

• Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and version control systems

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with

  API test automation

  (e.g., Postman + Newman, RestAssured, or PyTest)
• Knowledge of

  performance testing

  and tools like JMeter or K6
• Exposure to

  AWS / Docker / containerized test environments

• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA qualification
