Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in high-rise building construction to ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control measures, conducting site inspections, managing material testing, and coordinating with project teams to enhance construction quality. Quality Control & Assurance: Develop and implement Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans specifically for high-rise buildings. Conduct site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, BOQ, and project specifications . Monitor reinforcement detailing, shuttering, formwork, concrete pouring, and post-tensioning works for high-rise structures. Identify and address non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions. Material & Testing: Oversee material testing (concrete, steel, aggregates, waterproofing materials, fireproofing, etc.) and ensure compliance with specifications. Monitor concrete mix designs (M40, M50, and higher grades) for structural durability. Ensure third-party laboratory tests for compressive strength, slump test, cube testing, and rebar tensile strength are conducted properly. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. 4-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control for high-rise building projects Location - Ratnagiri and Mumbai - On site
