Key Responsibilities Ability to communicate with business or IT stakeholders and team members to discuss testing for projects and potential production defects and manage client's expectations. Attending daily scrum stand-ups and provide daily testing status reporting and keep Project Manager / Scrum Master informed on all issues and progress. Helping Product Owners to refine user stories. Sizing user stories. Write and execute test cases for user stories using Jira. Document actual results and ensure they align with testing outlined in user stories. This includes identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects, errors, and inconsistencies in application outputs, online screens and content by comparing test execution to specifications and documentation. Verify and validate bug fixes. Follow up with the defects that have been opened until the defects are closed. Assist with regression testing in SFT, pre-prod and production environments. This includes production deployment testing. Investigate/reproduce potential production issues. Technical Skills Manual Testing - Ability to develop test strategies/plans/scenarios. Experience in writing and executing test cases, reviewing and maintaining test scripts, to ensure quality applications. Risk analysis and test status reporting using JIRA. Ability to reproduce production defects. Experience in all phases of testing: System Integration (SIT), Functional, User Acceptance (UAT), Regression, Sanity, E2E (End to End) testing, and System testing. Excellent knowledge in conditioning data for preparation of test case scenarios. Automation Testing - Ability to write basic scripts Web Services and Micro Services testing (SOAP UI and Postman) -Ability to create requests and validate responses. SQL/Database testing -Ability to validate data using basic SQL queries. Test Management Tools (JIRA/TestRail/ALM)- Proficiency in Test Case Management, Test Execution, and Defect Tracking using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM. Ability to create and manage Test Plans and Test Reports. Other Skills Required Team members will be part of an agile team and must know how to work in this type of model. SAFe trained/certified. Proficient in English. Strong communication skills, capable of effective dialogue with clients, vendors, and team members to drive project success. Exceptional problem-solving skills, able to balance project collaboration with critical support in resolving production issues. Excellent organizing and planning skills, with ability to test execute successfully with tight deadlines. Excellent knowledge and work experience of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, including testing, defect tracking, management, and reporting. Excellent skills in troubleshooting. Understanding of Bell's Mobility products, and retail, call center and online applications is an asset. Ability to work on complex projects, integrating with multiple systems/teams. Nice to have: test automation experience using Ginger automation framework, Selenium / Rest Assured Framework / karate Framework for API's, Jira, confluence, Maven, Git, CI/CD pipeline. Telecom knowledge. WAC / fastAct application knowledge. NM1 / CSM knowledge. Comfortable with Confluence."
