Quality Control (QC) Chemist Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Job Description Job Title: QC Chemist Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Department: Quality Control Reports To: QC Manager Job Summary: The QC Officer in the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) industry is responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of concrete and raw materials through chemical and physical analysis. They monitor and test raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, and water), concrete mixes, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control Testing Process Monitoring & Compliance Documentation & Reporting Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Technical Support & Continuous Improvement Qualifications & Skills: Education: Civil Engineering, or related field. Experience: 1-5 years of experience in quality control in the concrete, cement, or construction industry. Technical Skills: Knowledge of concrete mix designs, and testing methods Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. Work Environment: Field-based role with exposure to RMC Requires adherence to safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment .
