Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field. Certification or training in agro product quality control will be an advantage. Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Executive Quality Control with prior hands-on experience in quality control for pulses and spices. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards, conducting thorough quality inspections, and managing supplier and customer quality concerns. The ideal candidate should also have experience in coordinating with third-party inspection agencies and laboratories for testing and should be proficient in preparing and managing MIS reports related to quality metrics. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough quality checks and ensure adherence to all quality control processes, specifically for pulses and spices. * Maintain detailed QC documentation, including reports, calibration records, and compliance documents. * Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality guidelines. * Conduct hands-on sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products, with a focus on agro commodities such as whole chili, turmeric, spice powders, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, chickpeas, toor dal, etc. * Coordinate and liaise with third-party inspection agencies and laboratories to ensure accurate quality testing and certification. * Verify hygiene checklists and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. * Handle supplier exception management, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively. * Conduct traceability exercises to track product quality throughout its lifecycle. * Oversee sample management, ensuring proper documentation and regular updates. * Obtain and document secondary competitive quotations for pricing analysis. * Provide timely and detailed MIS reports on quality-related metrics to management. * Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure process consistency as per company guidelines. Required Skills sets: * Experience in quality control with a strong focus on pulses and spices. * Expertise in sampling, testing, and evaluating Agro products like pulses and spices. * Experience in coordinating with third-party testing agencies and laboratories. * Strong understanding of supplier quality management and exception handling. * Proficiency in quality management systems, data tracking, and reporting tools. * Hands-on experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, and trend tracking. Preferred Skills Set: * Must be open to travel to sourcing locations across India for QC, production, and loading inspections. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring strict quality compliance.
