Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary:

The QC Engineer will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of machine assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. This role ensures that products meet the required specifications, standards, and customer expectations before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming mechanical components and sub-assemblies for dimensional and visual accuracy.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of machine assemblies.
• Prepare and maintain QC documentation such as inspection reports, deviation notes, and quality checklists.
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.
• Ensure assembly processes comply with internal quality standards and ISO procedures.
• Use measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, etc.
• Collaborate with the production and design team for quality improvements.
• Support root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Participate in internal audits and support external quality inspections if required.

Skills Required:

• Good understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Basic understanding of machine tools and assembly processes.
