Job Description

Quality Checker

experience: 5+ Years

Work location: chennai

Immediate Joiner Only

Review and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models with a focus on GD&T compliance.
Perform dimensional inspections of components using measurement tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
Identify discrepancies between drawings and manufactured parts and report non-conformances.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve tolerance and specification issues.
Ensure documentation and inspection reports are accurate and up to date.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality trends and recommending corrective actions.
Train and guide production staff on GD&T principles and quality standards when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of GD&T principles according to ASME Y14.5 or equivalent standards
Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings checker and 3D CAD models.
Proficiency with measurement instruments and inspection techniques.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate findings clearly.
