JOB TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER (QA) We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Manager (QA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the overall quality assurance strategy, focusing on both manual and automation testing while leveraging AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage. The QA lead will ensure that all software products meet the highest standards of quality and usability by performing comprehensive testing, including UI/UX testing, smoke testing, and utilizing modern testing tools like Selenium, Appium, and AI-powered platforms. The position also involves close collaboration with development teams in Scrum/Agile environments to ensure smooth and efficient release cycles. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES QA LEADERSHIP Lead the QA team, ensuring that testing processes and best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle. Act as the point of contact for all quality assurance activities, coordinating between developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Stay abreast of AI advancements in software testing and integrate relevant technologies (e.g., AI-powered test automation, predictive analytics) into the QA strategy to improve testing efficiency and defect detection. MANUAL AND AUUTOMATION TESTING Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to identify functional and usability defects across multiple platforms. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium and Appium. Ensure that automated scripts are maintained and updated as needed to improve coverage and efficiency. Utilize AI algorithms to generate and prioritize test cases for automation, enhancing test coverage and reducing manual effort. Explore AI-driven tools for intelligent test script maintenance and self-healing test automation. UI/UX TESTINGPerform rigorous UI/UX testing to ensure an intuitive, seamless user experience across all platforms. Provide feedback to developers and designers on improving the user interface to enhance usability and performance. Employ AI-based visual testing tools to detect UI anomalies and simulate diverse user interactions for comprehensive UX validation. Use AI to analyze user behavior patterns and predict potential usability issues. SMOKE TESTING AND TEST CASE EXECUTION Conduct smoke testing to verify the stability of new builds and deployments before more extensive test phases. Define, design, and execute various types of tests, such as regression, functional, and system testing. Leverage AI predictive analytics to identify high-risk areas for focused smoke testing and optimize test case execution. Use machine learning models to prioritize test suites based on historical defect data and code changes. COLLABORATION IN AGILE/ SCRUM ENVIRONMENT Work closely with development and product teams in Agile and Scrum methodologies to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with test strategies. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure transparency in testing progress and issues. Utilize AI-driven analytics to assess sprint performance, predict testing bottlenecks, and identify areas for process improvement in Agile/Scrum workflows. TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY USUAGE Leverage testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, and other automation frameworks to build and maintain test suites. Maintain knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in testing, ensuring the team stays updated on testing tools and techniques. Explore and integrate AI-powered testing platforms that utilize machine learning for intelligent test optimization, defect prediction, and automated root cause analysis. Stay informed on emerging AI tools for continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS EXPEREINCE 3-5 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. Experience in UI/UX testing and understanding of user interface and user experience principles. Proven experience with Selenium, Appium, and other automation tools. Experience in smoke testing and understanding of functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Practical experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and methodologies, such as machine learning for test case generation, predictive analytics for defect detection, and AI-based visual validation. KNOWLEDGEStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and test case development. Knowledge of testing tools like Selenium, Appium, and other automation frameworks. Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools. Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing tools. Understanding of how AI can be applied to software testing, including areas like test automation, predictive analytics, intelligent test management, and AI-powered test optimization. EXPERTISE Expertise in UI/UX testing, including functional and usability testing. Experience with cross-platform testing for both functional and user experience. Experience with AI-based tools for automated UI testing, cross-platform compatibility checks, and intelligent test data generation.
