Job Role: IT Quality Assurance (QA) Lead Location: Pune, India Experience: 8+ years Industry: Electric Vehicles (EV), Automotive, IT Software Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT QA person to lead our quality assurance initiatives for software systems and applications in the EV industry. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT solutions, manage test automation strategies, and drive quality improvements across development and production environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, and best practices for software and IT systems. Lead a team of QA engineers in manual and automated testing of web, mobile, and embedded software. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, ASPICE, and Automotive SPICE. Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management across various platforms. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Define and implement test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or similar. Conduct performance, security, and functional testing for enterprise IT applications. Monitor and analyze test results, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure quality deliverables. Manage vendor relationships for third-party testing tools and services. Requirements: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 10+ years of experience in IT Quality Assurance, with at least 5+ years in a Lead role. Expertise in test automation, performance testing, and security testing. Hands-on experience with QA tools and frameworks (Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, JMeter, Postman, etc.). Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Experience in testing cloud-based, embedded, and enterprise software. Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance and data privacy regulations is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
