Quality Assurance Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Quality Assurance Intern to join our QA team. This internship will offer hands-on experience in testing methodologies, QA processes, and working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the creation and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality. Help automate test cases using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar (if applicable). Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Support in preparing QA reports and documentation. Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools. Some exposure to programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced team environment. Nice to Have: Knowledge of automation frameworks or tools. Experience with version control systems like Git. Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
