Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures. Conduct tests to identify software defects and ensure they are resolved. Collaborate with the development team to ensure quality standards are met. Create and maintain test plans and test cases. Perform regression testing to ensure software updates do not impact existing functionality. Document and report any issues found during testing. Provide feedback to the development team on ways to improve product quality. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in quality assurance. Key Competencies: Software Testing Methodologies Tools - Strong understanding of testing techniques, including functional, regression, and automation testing. Test Automation - Experience with automation tools like Selenium or JUnit for efficient testing processes. Quality Assurance Processes - Ability to develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and best practices. Defect Identification Resolution - Skilled in detecting, documenting, and resolving software defects. Test Plan Case Development - Ability to create and maintain structured test plans and test cases. Industry Best Practices - Awareness of the latest trends and innovations in QA and software testing. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or JUnit. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance
