Quality Assurance Engineer

As a QA Engineer at Volt Money, you will be part of a rapidly growing team focused on mobile applications in a fast-paced fintech startup environment. Your role will involve collaborating with founders, product, and engineering teams to understand features, develop test cases, improve product quality, and expedite the release process from development to production. Your inputs in meetings and end-user feedback will be crucial in enhancing the customer experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work collaboratively with experienced engineers to test multiple software releases. - Create, maintain, and execute test cases/suites for automation and manual testing. - Test web-based software, mobile apps, and Rest APIs. - Develop test plans and cases for new features ensuring adequate test coverage. - Identify root causes of issues and generate detailed bug reports. - Prepare precise Test Completion reports for management approval. - Participate in test planning and communicate status updates effectively. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Proficiency in testing frontend and backend systems using tools like Postman and Restclient. - Strong understanding of Web and Mobile applications as well as Rest APIs. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. - Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools. - Familiarity with automation tools like JAVA, Rest-assured, Selenium, and Appium. - Experience with tools and frameworks such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, TestNG, and TestRail.
