Job Description

Requirements:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior QA Tester with a primary focus on Mobile Application Testing. The ideal candidate should have some hands-on experience or strong interest in manual testing, along with exposure to automation testing. Experience in web and API testing is a plus. You’ll be part of a collaborative QA team working closely with developers, product managers, and senior testers to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test documentation.
Identify, document, and track bugs in tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
Conduct functional, regression, UI/UX, and usability testing.
Execute basic API tests using tools like Postman or Swagger (if applicable).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2–3 years of QA experience, ideally including mobile app testing.
Basic understanding of web and API testing concepts.
Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG).
Good verbal and written communication.
Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to improve testing coverage.
Assist in writing or maintaining automation scripts under guidance (using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar).
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Automation is good to have.
