Our team thrives on innovation, quality, and collaborationâhelping businesses streamline processes and drive growth.Role Overview As our Quality Assurance Engineer, you will own the testing life cycle for ERPNext customizations, integrations, and standard implementations. Youâll partner closely with developers, consultants, and project managers to ensure every release meets our high standards for reliability, performance, and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Strategy Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and checklists for ERPNext modules (CRM, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, etc.). Define testing scope, entry/exit criteria, and risk assessments for each sprint or release cycle. Test Execution & Automation Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, user acceptance) to validate new features and bug fixes. Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or pytest. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for continuous validation. Defect Management Log, track, and prioritize defects in a defect-tracking system (e.g., Jira, GitHub Issues). Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify fixes. Performance & Security Testing Conduct basic performance and load tests to identify bottlenecks in ERPNext custom code or integrations. Assist in security and vulnerability scans, raising alerts for potential risks. Process Improvement Continuously refine QA processes, best practices, and standards. Mentor team members on testing methodologies and tool usage. Documentation & Reporting Maintain clear test documentation, including test results, coverage matrices, and release readiness reports. Present QA metrics and highlights during sprint reviews and stakeholder demos. Required Skills & Experience Professional Experience 3+ years in software QA, with hands-on experience testing ERP or SaaS applications. Prior exposure to ERPNext or Frappe Framework is highly desirable. Technical Skills Proficiency in writing and executing manual test cases. Solid scripting skills in Python or JavaScript for test automation. Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, pytest, etc. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and integrating tests into pipelines. Basic understanding of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ability to validate data integrity. Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skillsâable to convey issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for quality. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an agile team environment. Education & Certifications Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
