Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer Minimum Experience: 5 Years and above Budget: Gross 25-30 K (Approx.) Age: 30 Yrs. Onward Job Summary: As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products and processes through the implementation and enforcement of quality control measures. You will collaborate with cross- functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop quality assurance procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your role will involve conducting inspections, analysing data, and implementing corrective actions to enhance overall product quality. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Provide guidance and support to teams to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify deviations from quality standards. Testing and Analysis: Perform product testing, including dimensional, functional, and performance testing. Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyse data and identify trends, ensuring continuous improvement in product quality. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspection findings. Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing quality performance and recommending improvements. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains to enhance overall product quality. Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a 5/10 years experience in related fields. Proven experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. knowledge of Relevant Standards (e.g., ISO, ASNT, IS, etc.) Familiarity with industry standards and best practices Proficiency in quality documentation and reporting knowledge of handling Different kinds of quality instruments. Certifications (if applicable): Quality-related certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification would be a plus.
