Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into detailed test cases, user stories, specifications, and workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications and API testing.
• While the primary focus of the role is on automation, you may also need to be involved in manual testing for complex or edge-case scenarios as needed.
• Continuously improve the automation framework by adopting new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and validate product features within Jira.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout development and testing phases to identify and resolve issues early.
• Track and manage feature development and defect backlogs to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Support Agile teams by actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Required:

• 2–5 years of experience in QA automation or software testing.
• Hands-on experience with one or more automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Strong skills in any of the programming/scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java).
• Experience working with automated test frameworks and contributing to their maintenance or improvement.
• Solid understanding of testing types: functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin).
• Exposure to JMeter or any other performance tool
