Job Description

Job Summary:


Quality Analyst


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and execute

    manual test cases

    and

    automation scripts

    based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track

    bugs and defects

    using issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate closely with

    developers, product managers, and business analysts

    to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform

    functional, regression, integration, and system testing

    across multiple environments.
  • Maintain and enhance

    automation test suites

    for continuous integration (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Participate in

    test planning, estimation, and reporting

    processes.
  • Conduct

    API testing

    using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
  • Support

    UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

    and release validation activities.
  • Ensure testing follows industry best practices and adheres to QA standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3 years

    of experience in

    Software Testing (Manual + Automation)

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    SDLC

    ,

    STLC

    , and

    Defect Life Cycle

    .
  • Hands-on experience in:

  • Manual Testing

    (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, etc.)

  • Automation Tools:

    Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright

  • Programming/Scripting Languages:

    Java, Python, or JavaScript

  • Version Control:

    Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket

  • CI/CD Tools:

    Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure Pipelines

  • API Testing:

    Postman, REST Assured

  • Database Testing:

    SQL Queries for Data Validation
  • Familiarity with

    Agile/Scrum methodologies

    .
  • Excellent

    analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have (Optional):


  • Experience with

    Performance Testing tools

    (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Exposure to

    Mobile App Testing

    (Appium, Android Studio, or Xcode).

    Cloud-based testing platforms

    (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • ISTQB Certification or similar QA certification.
