Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Router QoS Developer Location: Bangalore Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in router data plane and control plane software development . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with QoS features and a deep understanding of network operating systems, memory management, and data structures . Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance router data plane and control plane software . Design and implement networking features with a focus on QoS , including: Optimize software performance and memory management within network operating systems . Debug and troubleshoot control and data plane issues efficiently. Work closely with hardware teams to integrate and optimize QoS pipelining features . Requirements: 8+ years of experience in router data plane and control plane software development . Strong hands-on experience with C and C++ programming . Solid understanding of network operating systems, memory management, and data structures . Proven experience working with QoS features such as: Policing Marking Bandwidth management Queueing Profiles Traffic policies Strong debugging capabilities for both data plane and control plane issues . Exposure to QoS pipelining hardware is an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale networking systems and embedded platforms . Familiarity with Linux kernel networking subsystems . Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment .
