QC Microbiologist

Job Responsibilities:

• Media Preparation & Consumption Prepare various m icrobiological media as per SOPs and maintain in a accurate media consumption records.
• Media Sterilization & Documentation
• Carry out sterilization processes for media using validated methods and record sterilization details diligently.
• Media Inventory Management and storage.
• Monitor and manage the inventory of received and used microbiological media, ensuring proper labeling
• Growth Promotion Test (GPT) Execution Perform GPT analysis for all prepared media to verify its suitability for microbiological testing, Autoclave Operation & Monitoring Microbiological Analysis Operate autoclaves for sterilization processes and maintain a associated logs and performance records. weighing balances and water baths.
• Conduct routine microbiological testing and maintain accurate records, utilizing instruments such as Instrument Calibration as per defined schedules.
• Perform and document calibration of laboratory instruments including weighing balances and water baths Media Reconciliation Reconcile used and unused media with log records to ensure traceability and inventory control.
