QC Lead

Role Overview: As a QC Lead at Techflow Engineers (I) Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for carrying out model and drawings quality check with QC team members using standards and codes. Your role will involve communicating and coordinating with execution Project Manager/Team leader for project-related issues, preparing separate QC RFIs, maintaining the QC team RFI log, and implementing batch files and project settings on all QC team members" machines. You will also review sample shop drawings received from the execution team, solve technical Tekla/SDS-2 queries of QC Engineers, review deliverables received from the execution team, and handle various responsibilities in the absence of the QC Manager. Additionally, you will be in charge of distributing daily work/tasks to QC Engineers, preparing and submitting project schedules, and ensuring compliance with design standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out model and drawings quality check with QC team members using standards and codes - Communicate and coordinate with execution Project Manager/Team leader for project-related issues - Prepare separate QC RFIs and maintain the QC team RFI log - Implement batch files and project settings on all QC team members" machines - Review sample shop drawings received from the execution team - Solve technical Tekla/SDS-2 queries of QC Engineers - Review deliverables received from the execution team before submission to the client - Handle responsibilities of the QC Manager in their absence - Distribute daily work/tasks to QC Engineers - Prepare and submit project schedules - Maintain project folder and conduct daily project meetings with the QC team - Ensure compliance with design standards, project requirements, and quality control procedures Qualifications Required: - Full-time B.Tech. or B.E./Diploma in Civil/Mechanical - Minimum 3 years of experience in drawings checking and model checking - Expertise in TEKLA and advanced checking tools - Sound knowledge of Autocad, Bluebeam software, and MS Office - Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel model checking - Familiarity with AISC, NISD, IBC, CISC, and OSHA standards of structural steel detailing Please note that immediate joiners would be preferred for this position.
