QC Checker - Basic Structure

Job Description

Responsibilities: Quality assurance (QA) and Quality control (QC) of design deliverables Review of documents/ drawings with respect to classification society, standards and regulations Review of documents/ drawings with respect to Client requirement/build specification Produce detailed and accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for marine and offshore structural projects. Collaborate with lead engineers and designers to interpret design concepts into comprehensive drafting documents. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design staff. Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules. Guidance and review on Site Measurements and preparations of as built drawings Utilize industry-standard drafting software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, and other relevant tools. Review outsourced engineering drawings as deliverables. Should have in-depth knowledge of shipbuilding and repair practices. Onsite support for installation/ fabrication. Qualification: BE/ B.tech in Naval Architecture. Desired Profile: Experience of 5 to 8 years in Shipyard Having good knowledge in AutoCAD and 3D modeling tool is mandatory. Autodesk Inventor experience Candidates having experience in shipyard or design office of marine/offshore consulting engineering companies will be ideal.
