Job Description

Role & responsibilities Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and assurance programs to ensure all products meet quality standards. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company processes and industry regulations. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train a team of QA/QC inspectors, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their duties efficiently. Foster a culture of quality across all teams in the manufacturing process. Quality Control Testing: Oversee and review all testing procedures, including raw materials, in-process inspections, and finished goods. Ensure that products are tested according to regulatory standards and meet customer specifications. Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to quality. Work with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues, aiming to reduce defects and increase product consistency. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.) and local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain thorough documentation of all inspections, testing, and corrective actions. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions: Investigate and document non-conformances and customer complaints. Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence and improve product quality. Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and manage the quality of materials supplied by vendors. Conduct audits of suppliers and ensure that all incoming materials meet required specifications and quality standards. Reporting: Provide regular reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and process improvements to senior management. Utilize data to drive decision-making and present recommendations for enhancing quality systems.
