Noise Consulting India Pvt Ltd is seeking experienced and highly skilled QA Testing Consultants with expertise in software testing for utility industry solutions to join our growing practice. Candidates with experience at Big 6 Consulting firms (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, IBM) and a deep understanding of utility industry operations are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Create, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases tailored to utility-specific software and enterprise systems. Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality, performance, and compliance. Test core functionalities of utility platforms, including Customer Information Systems (CIS), Meter Data Management (MDM), Work & Asset Management (WAM), and Billing Systems, ensuring seamless operation. Identify, log, and monitor defects using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Tosca, ensuring timely resolution. Partner with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to confirm business requirements and address issues effectively. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, including FERC and NERC, through thorough testing and detailed documentation. Contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts to enhance system quality and streamline processes. Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in software testing within utility-related IT initiatives. Experience working at Big 6 consulting firm (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, or IBM). In-depth knowledge of utility operations, such as billing, metering, outage management, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency with utility software platforms (e.g., Oracle Utilities, SAP IS-U, IBM Maximo, etc.). Demonstrated ability to design and execute test cases, assess functionalities, and manage defects. Comfortable thriving in a dynamic, client-oriented setting. Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, HP ALM, Tosca, or Cypress. Knowledge of cloud-based utility solutions and system integrations. ISTQB certification or similar QA credentials.
