QA Tester

As a QA Manual Tester with around 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing, your role will involve ensuring the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications through thorough testing and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Understand requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. - Execute test cases manually and report defects clearly with proper documentation. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues. - Perform different types of testing: Functional, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Maintain logs of test cases, test results, and defect tracking in tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. - Work in an Agile environment with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 1 year of manual testing experience. - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and communication skills. The company offers a flexible schedule, paid sick time, and the job is full-time and permanent. The work schedule is during the day shift from Monday to Friday. The work location is in person at Sohana, Mohali, Punjab. Reliability in commuting or planning to relocate before starting work is preferred. Day shift availability is preferred.
