QA QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan in line with company standards.
• Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes/standards.
• Monitor and enforce QA/QC procedures across all project stages.

2. Site Inspections & Documentation

• Perform regular site inspections and raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely close-out.
• Maintain quality documentation, test reports, checklists, and inspection records.
• Coordinate third-party testing and inspections (if applicable).

3. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, and Consultants to address quality-related issues.
• Attend site quality meetings and provide updates on quality performance.
• Coordinate with MEP and Civil teams to ensure integrated quality performance.

4. Material Quality Management

• Inspect and verify materials upon arrival to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain updated records of material tests, including concrete, steel, and other building materials.

5. Compliance & Safety Alignment

• Ensure site activities comply with local building codes, industry standards, and company policies.
• Support HSE team in maintaining safe work practices.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards for high-rise projects.
• Hands-on experience with QA/QC procedures and site inspection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Good understanding of construction materials and testing procedures.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within real estate or high-rise construction.
• Certification in Quality Management (ISO, QA/QC) is an advantage.
• Experience working on high-rise residential or commercial projects is mandatory.

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to modern construction technologies and materials.
• Experience with RERA documentation (if applicable).
• Working knowledge of QA tools, checklists, and project management software.
