QA QC Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance (QA): Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for construction activities. Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications . Monitor and evaluate material quality, construction methods, and workmanship. Assist in developing and conducting training programs on quality standards and procedures for project teams. Quality Control (QC): Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Supervise and verify all structural, architectural, and MEP works for compliance with quality requirements. Identify non-conformances (NCRs), document deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions . Oversee material testing and ensure test results meet the project requirements. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection records, test reports, and material approval documents . Maintain a proper document control system for all quality-related records. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality-related issues. Coordination & Compliance: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are met. Conduct pre-inspection meetings and ensure all necessary approvals before execution. Ensure that all quality-related activities align with ISO 9001, local building standards, and safety protocols . Coordinate with client representatives and regulatory bodies for inspections and approvals.
