Job description Job Title - QA/QC Engineer Location: Nashik(Boripada) Experience: 4 to 5 years Industry: Construction (Residential, High-Rise Buildings, Commercial Projects) Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and manage the QA/QC procedures and standards to ensure the quality of materials and construction activities. Perform regular audits and inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with the quality standards and project specifications. Establish and monitor quality benchmarks and KPIs for ongoing projects. Quality Control: Conduct material testing and review test results to ensure materials meet required specifications. Oversee all quality control activities on-site, including monitoring of construction methods, workmanship, and compliance with design specifications. Investigate and analyze non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality assurance and quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action documentation. Prepare and present reports on quality performance, highlighting key issues, improvements, and trends. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and complies with company policies and project requirements. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are understood and adhered to. Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address quality-related issues. Provide training and guidance to construction teams on quality standards and best practices. Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Stay updated on changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements, and implement necessary adjustments to QA/QC processes. Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address quality issues before they impact project timelines and costs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction contractor companies, with specific experience in residential, high-rise buildings, and commercial projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in QA/QC tools and techniques, knowledge of construction materials, methods, and testing standards. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and coordination abilities.
