JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: QA & Project Manager
Location: Chennai
Experience: 7–12 years
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled QA & Project Manager to oversee both quality assurance and project delivery for our software products. This role requires a unique combination of technical QA expertise and project management experience to ensure timely, high-quality releases while leading cross-functional teams effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quality Assurance Leadership
- Lead and mentor the QA team (manual and automation).- Define and implement QA processes, strategies, and best practices.
- Oversee test planning, execution, and automation for web, mobile, and API layers.- Ensure defect-free releases through functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Track, report, and communicate testing progress and quality metrics.- Evaluate and implement QA tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.- Define project objectives, milestones, and timelines in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.- Identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers; implement mitigation strategies. - -- Communicate project status, progress, and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and standardize QA + project management practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- 7+ years of experience in software QA and project management, with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing (Selenium, Postman, JMeter, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).- Proven experience managing multiple projects and delivering them successfully. ------Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar.
