Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Software Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team. As a fresher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. Key Responsibilities: Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. Report bugs and errors to development teams. Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing. Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans. Review and analyze system specifications. Evaluate product code according to specifications. Create logs to document testing phases and defects. Help troubleshoot issues. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and tools. Familiarity with various testing techniques (eg, functional, regression, performance). Knowledge of SQL and scripting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with test management software (eg, JIRA, TestRail). Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
