QA Performance Test Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Guide the performance test processes,activities and work with project members through the overall process of quality assurance planning focusing on performance,resource requirements, scheduling of tests, identification of deliverables and testing. Work alongside with project team to create performance test strategy and test plan Develop and build Performance testing scripts from scratch, with Jmeter Identify performance bottle necks by running stress/load test and follow performance testing processes Prepare and review / explain performance results with project stakeholders Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging Produce Final Performance test summary measuring KPIs such as End to End Response times , Number of Hits from Client side and memory leakage , CPU Utilization , Throughput , Error rates etc from Server Side Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents and provide timely and meaningful feedback to ensure a full and clear understanding of deliverables as well as identify any gaps in requirements. Estmate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activites, maintaining all test deliverables (test plans, test cases, test scripts, test results, etc.). Evaluate risk and perform a risk assessments related to performance of the Web application. Provide scheduled quality reports for projects and products, and advise management of quality related issues or trends. Identify, document and implement QA process improvements (process standardization, methodologies, tool utilization) leveraging industry best practices.
