QA Manual Tester

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, along with a passion for quality and continuous improvement. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure our products meet high standards of reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and ensure product quality. Report, track, and document defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Work with development teams to resolve defects and improve software quality. Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved. Assist in the development and maintenance of automation test scripts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or a related field. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with test management software (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems. Hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Familiarity with scripting languages and test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter). Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes. Excellent communication and analytical skills. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Nice to Have: Experience with API testing and database queries (SQL). Exposure to continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications.
