Job Description

Role & responsibilities • Design, build, execute, and maintain automated tests to ensure products meet defined functional requirements • Lead and manage a team of QA professionals to ensure project goals are met. • Collaborate with development and product teams to define quality standards and testing requirements. • Conduct peer reviews of automated test scripts • Review automated test results to verify functional and technical requirements • Support manual QA testing efforts in conversion of manual test cases to automated • Work effectively and collaboratively within your team, participating in daily Scrum/agile and other meetings JD QA Manager Page 1 • Communicate frequently and openly with supervisor(s) and team members • Monitor and report on QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts. • Perform other duties as assigned Preferred candidate profile Experience: 10+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years leading QA teams in a software product company. • Test Automation Expertise: Strong experience in automated testing frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines. • Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Cucumber. • Programming & Scripting: Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript. • Cloud & DevOps Testing: Experience with cloud-based testing on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. • API & Performance Testing: Expertise in testing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures, using tools like Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, or k6. • Agile & DevOps: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Shift-Left testing, and DevOps quality integration. • AI Testing Tools (Plus): Experience with AI-powered testing tools such as Testim, Mabl, Applitools, Functionize, or similar is a plus. • Analytical & Leadership Skills: Ability to lead large teams, influence stakeholders, and drive quality at scale.
