Job Title : QA Lead Experience : 7+ years Location : Guindy, Chennai Job Type : Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Lead to drive our test automation & manual strategy, ensure the quality of our software products, and lead a team of QA engineers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and mentoring QA teams to achieve high efficiency and accuracy in testing. Key Responsibilities: Lead the automation testing efforts, defining test strategies, frameworks, and best practices. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases. Implement continuous testing as part of CI/CD pipelines. Identify test scenarios, create test plans, and manage test data. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and provide solutions for test failures. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, ensuring best automation practices are followed. Evaluate and integrate new automation tools and technologies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years in software testing (In Freight forwarding industry, Preferred), with atleast 3 years in automation testing and 2+ years of team handling experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.). Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Angular, JavaScript. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD). Experience in API automation testing (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI). Familiarity with performance and security testing tools is a plus. Working knowledge of cloud-based test environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Education: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with mobile automation testing.
