QA Intern

As a QA Intern at Surepass Technologies, you will be an integral part of our product and engineering team. Your role will involve collaborating with QA engineers, developers, and product managers to ensure the quality and functionality of our platforms and APIs. This internship offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in testing real-world software products. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with QA engineers to design test plans and test cases for web and API products. - Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and performance issues. - Document and report bugs clearly using tools like JIRA or similar. - Assist in regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and smoke testing. - Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews. - Learn and work with automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter). - Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes. Qualifications Required: - Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong interest in software quality assurance and testing. - Basic understanding of software development and QA lifecycle. - Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman (for APIs) or browser dev tools. - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): - Exposure to writing test scripts or basic automation (Selenium, Python/Java). - Knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP methods. - Understanding of Agile methodologies.
