Job Description

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.


Scope of Work -

  • Responsible for the IMS system development and implementation in all the CR3I business locations.
  • Prepare the schedule and conduct the Internal Audits for all the CR3I business units according to the IMS requirements.
  • Coordinate with all the HOD’s of CR3I (except accounts & admin) for conducting internal audits and guide them to fulfil the IMS requirements. Insist the continual improvement for the betterment of the system and business development as well.
  • Issue the non-conformances & observations department wise (if any) and support the stakeholders to close the same on time. Also, support all the stakeholders to find out the root causes of NC and provide the best possible solutions to avoid the recurrence of the same in future.
  • Coordinate with the BV Thailand team, BVIL auditors & GQPM and arrange the external IMS audits and guide & coordinate all the stakeholders for fulfil the audit requirements.
  • Responsible for coordinating, preparing and submitting the monthly Management Business Report to the General Manager (CR3I) and the Group Quality Performance Manager (Group).
  • Provide training to the CR3I workers (applicable) on how to conduct the internal audits and develop/encourage them for cross functional audits within the site/location itself.
  • Provide training about the basic quality systems tools to enhance productivity (e.g. 5S System, IMS).
  • Coordinate with the Group team and CR3I HODs to fulfil the Environmental Sustainability Policy requirements.
  • Prepare and conduct the “Management Review Meeting” for CR3I.
  • Maintain/prepare/manage the below IMS related documents.
  • HSE Legal & Other Requirements. Keep the evidence of all.
  • Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments for all the functions / locations.
  • Environmental Aspect & Impact Assessments for all the functions / locations.
  • Maintain / develop the “Risk Base Approach Control Register”.
  • Review and update Emergency Preparedness Plan for all the locations.
  • Maintain and review the Management of change records & register for all locations.
  • Coordinate Mock Drill for Mumbai Office.
  • Incident and Accident recording and updating Incident Register (Lag Register).
  • Responsible for Calibration & Testing of Measuring Instrument, Gas Meters, Pressure Gauges and other Equipment. Coordinate with the suppliers and vendors for purchasing, calibration and repair services.
  • Tracking Measuring Instruments, Gas Meters, Pressure Gauges, Radio’s and other Equipment.
  • Update the Issue, Return, non-conformance (if any), GRN etc. records as per the Epicor system.
  • Maintain the Calibration Certificates of all Measuring Instruments, Gas Meters, Pressure Gauges etc.
  • Preparing the Document Action Request (DAR) and updating required documents.
  • Periodic Project site visits for HSEQ monitoring & auditing.
  • Arrange training related to Gas Meters and other measuring instruments.
  • Communication system management (Radio - Testing, servicing, tracking, Licensing etc.)
  • Collecting Customer Satisfaction Report (CSR) from all Project Sites and maintaining the records. Analyze the CSR and calculate the % on Quarterly basis.
  • Identify and implement the Management Programs (Quality, Environment, Safety and Health) and keep the records.
  • Involvement in Promotional Events like Safety Day, Fire Service Week, etc. and support the team for any preparation.
  • Prepare documents (HSEQ work instructions/SOP/ forms etc.) and support operations team for executing the project (e.g. OMPL CHD Composite Project, HMEL CHD project documentation etc.).
  • Preparing the Document Action Request (DAR) and updating required documents. Communicating the same to Group for uploading in PADS and once uploaded in PADS then same to be communicated to all the stakeholders.
  • Document controller of the CR3I business units.
  • Tracking and record (Epicor) of Management Site Safety and Environmental Review reports.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement, and maintain the site-specific QA/QC Management System.
  • Contribute to the Vendor/Subcontractor Development process, serving as a committee member/representative in collaboration with Procurement and Operations teams.
  • Plan and execute vendor/subcontractor audits, both on-site and off-site.
  • Develop project-specific quality procedures and work instructions in alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate quality inspections with subcontractors and vendors, including all non-destructive testing (NDT) activities and related documentation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with customer representatives on all quality-related matters.
  • Oversee receipt and inward material inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Distribute and manage QA/QC documentation for all site subcontractors.
  • Ensure quality-related site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and coordinate site quality inspections through QC inspectors.
  • Ensure timely compilation, review, and completion of all quality control documentation.
  • Manage nonconformance reports (NCRs), ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Review customer specifications and provide training and guidance to site QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
  • Monitor and ensure effective implementation of the approved QA/QC Plan, ITP, or QAP at the site.
  • Collaborate with the Site/Project Manager to meet client requirements in line with Work Orders (W/O) and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
  • Ensure that safety systems and procedures are effectively integrated with quality requirements.
  • Promote and cultivate a quality-focused culture across all site functions and teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Min 10 years of experience in the oil & gas contracting industry
  • ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor certifications required.
