Business Unit-Slike is TIL's in-house audio-video platform to meet enterprise needs, which provides live broadcast, on-demand video & podcast solutions. We created this leading Video Platform-as-a-Service, enabling different Times group businesses to create any video solution and workflow, whether standalone or tightly coupled.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure product quality. You will work closely with QA analysts, developers, and product managers to understand product requirements and translate them into automation test plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks.

Design automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report bugs with detailed logs and screenshots.

Work closely with the development team to identify testable use cases early in the development cycle.

Maintain test data and environments for continuous testing.

Contribute to performance, regression, and API testing.

Analyze test results and identify root causes of failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Strong experience in test automation using one or more of the following tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.

Good programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript.

Hands-on experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.

Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
