Job Overview Seeking a Sr. Software QA Engineer with a strong background in Python-based automation testing for UI and APIs. This position demands experience in test automation frameworks (Pytest, BDD – Gherkin/Behave), database queries, and Agile workflows. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, clean code, and test-driven development. Key Responsibilities Lead automation efforts for UI and API testing using Python, Selenium, Playwright Develop, maintain, and execute test cases using BDD frameworks (Gherkin, Behave) and Pytest Understand business and technical requirements to design test cases and scenarios Execute and maintain regression test suites for cloud-hosted applications Write complex database queries (Postgres, Snowflake, MySQL, RDS) Collaborate in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) for continuous delivery and testing Utilize DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins for automation and CI/CD pipelinesMentor team members and contribute to framework improvements and quality standards Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of hands-on QA experience (manual + automation) 4+ years of UI and API testing experience using Python Mandatory: Python + Selenium + Pytest + BDD (Gherkin or Behave) Proficiency in writing DB queries (Postgres/Snowflake/MySQL) Experience in designing or enhancing automation frameworks Solid knowledge of Agile practices and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Healthcare or Life Sciences domain experience is a plus Show more Show less
