Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in manual testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the Cucumber BDD framework, Page Object Model (POM), and Core Java. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with requirements. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java. Implement and maintain the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for automation frameworks. Collaborate with development teams to write test cases and scenarios based on business requirements using Cucumber BDD. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed. Identify, document, and track defects in bug-tracking systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application workflows and troubleshoot issues. Provide feedback on system performance, usability, and functionality. Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance quality assurance practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 1-2 years in software testing, with a mix of manual and automation testing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Core Java. Experience with Cucumber BDD framework for writing test scenarios. Knowledge of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern. Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle. Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries for database validations. Basic understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. To process, implement, and monitor testing by using reports(like Cucumber and Extent Reports). Should have Basic Knowledge of Rest Assured-Java and DB Testing. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
