Job Title: QA Engineer (Minimum 3 Years of Experience) Location: Gandhinagar Job Type: Hybrid Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our growing team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring the quality of software products before release. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual, API, database, and automated testing, along with a solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and strong problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Understand product requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases. Develop and maintain test documentation for both new features and existing functionalities. Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing. Execute test cases and report defects clearly and accurately using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Zoho). Analyze test results, document bugs in detail, and work with the development team to update test plans as needed. Collaborate with developers to prioritize and resolve issues effectively. Validate bug fixes and verify feature implementations. Maintain a strong attention to detail and ensure end-to-end testing is conducted thoroughly. Maintain and update defect reports based on severity and priority. Ensure clear documentation of the testing process and maintain records for reference. Participate in the release process and continuously monitor the quality of applications. Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies. Follow and support Agile methodologies. Required Skills And Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing of web applications. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycles. Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Zoho, etc. Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
