QA Automation Engineer (Performance + API + Automation Testing)

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

  performance test scripts

  using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Build and maintain

  Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks

  for web applications.
• Conduct

  API testing

  using REST Assured / Postman and validate request–response behavior.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations.
• Work with

  AWS services

  for test environment integration, including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Glue (preferred).
• Develop SQL queries for data validation, test data creation, and backend verification.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, requirement reviews, and test planning discussions.
• Collaborate with development, cloud, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage.
• Produce detailed test reports, defect logs, and performance analysis documentation.

Mandatory Skills

• Performance Testing:

  JMeter or LoadRunner

• Automation Testing:

  Selenium WebDriver

• API Testing:

  REST Assured / Postman

• Cloud:

  AWS (API Gateway, Lambda; Glue/EventBridge preferred)

• Database:

  SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server)

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with

  pub/sub integration patterns

  , messaging systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of

  microservices testing

  , distributed systems, and CI/CD flows.
• Familiarity with

  Git, Jenkins, Docker

  , or other DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of Performance Monitoring tools and distributed tracing.

Additional Requirements

• Hybrid role: should be available to visit Gurgaon office

  approximately twice a month

  .
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to

  Gurugram

  (commutable distance).
• Must be

  ready to move to Pune

  after the current project ends.
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
