We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation testing using Java, Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, and API testing with Postman. You will be responsible for designing test strategies, creating automated test suites, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
6–10 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing
Strong proficiency in Java for test automation development
Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
Hands-on experience implementing BDD frameworks and authoring feature files using Cucumber
Good understanding of automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), hybrid, or data-driven frameworks
Experience with Postman for manual and automated API testing (collections, scripts, assertions)
Familiarity with build and CI/CD tools (Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Git)
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA methodologies
Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
Create and maintain BDD feature files and step definitions aligned with business requirements
Perform API testing and automation using Postman, including validation, scripting, and collection runs
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage
Execute test suites, analyze results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution
Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes for better efficiency and coverage
Participate in sprint planning, requirement discussions, and QA strategy for new features
Prepare test metrics, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases through robust testing practices
