Execute automated tests and report on results, analyzing failures appropriately. Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and features. Participate in test planning and design, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all scenarios. Develop and maintain test data for testing purposes. Perform API testing using automation tools to ensure seamless integration. Monitor and report on automated test coverage and performance metrics. Conduct reviews of automated test cases and scripts for quality assurance. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes. Identify and document defects, ensuring they are triaged and resolved in a timely manner. Collaborate in troubleshooting issues faced during testing and production. Stay current with industry trends and best practices for QA automation. Provide mentorship to junior testers regarding automation best practices. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure smooth deployments. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in QA Automation testing within an Agile environment. Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience programming in Java or similar languages. Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation. Strong analytical and debugging skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with performance testing tools is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus. Willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed.
