Job Details Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Remote Work: Work from office once a week Office Location: Whitefield, Bengaluru Job Type: Contract - 11 months Salary Range: INR 60,000 to 100,000 per month based on experience Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Java-based test automation frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning : Develop and implement automation test strategies, frameworks, and best practices. Test Automation Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks. Framework Management : Build and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and RestAssured . API & UI Testing : Perform automated API and UI testing to ensure the stability of applications. Performance & Load Testing : Utilize tools like JMeter or Gatling to conduct performance testing. Continuous Integration : Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools . Defect Identification & Reporting : Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or TestRail . Collaboration : Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to define testing requirements and ensure high-quality releases. Test Data Management : Manage and generate test data for automation scripts. Requirements Must-Have Skills: 3-6 years of experience in test automation using Java. Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) . Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber . Experience with API testing using RestAssured or Postman . Experience working with version control systems like Git . Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI . Familiarity with SQL databases for data validation. Understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD/BDD). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling . Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes .
