QA Automation Engineer (SDET) Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our dynamic team. Youll design, build, and maintain automated tests for modern web applications and APIs, ensuring quality at every stage of development and deployment. Youll also play a critical role in shaping our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps , integrating testing workflows for high-quality, continuous delivery. As our products evolve to include AI-driven features , we are also looking for someone who can test AI/ML components and use AI-assisted tools to enhance test coverage, speed, and accuracy. Key Responsibilities • Test Automation & Quality (MUST) Design and maintain automated test suites for web applications using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver Develop and execute API tests for backend validation using REST-based libraries Create and maintain test data sets and perform data validation using SQL Contribute to manual and exploratory testing efforts when automation is not feasible CI/CD & Infrastructure (Preferable) Build, integrate, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps Enable automatic test execution and reporting as part of the deployment process Collaborate with DevOps teams to support environment setup, test infrastructure, and stability monitoring • AI & Intelligent Feature Testing (Preferable) Validate AI/ML-powered features, such as personalized content, intelligent search, NLP services, or classifiers Write tests to verify AI outputs, accuracy, and stability , using known datasets and validation metrics Integrate testing workflows into MLOps pipelines and monitor inference health in production Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to ensure responsible AI delivery AI for Testing & Productivity (MUST) Leverage AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Testim, Mabl ) to assist in: Test case generation and edge case analysis Automated code reviews or bug triage Intelligent test script suggestions or refactoring Synthetic data generation for automated tests Continuously explore new AI tools and techniques to improve testing velocity and coverage Collaboration & Quality Culture (MUST) Use Azure DevOps Test Plans for test management, execution tracking, and defect logging Participate in requirements grooming to identify edge cases and automation opportunities early Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and designers to deliver high-quality, user-focused features Support continuous improvement in QA practices and mentor junior QA engineers Qualifications 6+ years of test automation experience for REST APIs and web applications Strong in C# , Playwright , Selenium WebDriver , and SQL Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and general understanding of frontend behavior Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, test plans, release integration) Proficiency with JMeter or similar tools for performance/load testing Experience testing all application layers (frontend, services, backend) Exposure to mobile testing tools is a plus AI-Related Experience (Highly Preferred) Hands-on use of AI-assisted QA tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Testim, Mabl, ReTest ) to improve test coverage and speed
