Job Title: QA Automation Engineer – 6-Month Contract Experience: 3–4 Years Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore (On-site) Contract Duration: 6 Months Employment Type: Contract About the Role: We are hiring a skilled QA Automation Engineer for a 6-month contract to support our software testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Selenium and Python, with a solid understanding of automation frameworks, testing best practices, and Agile processes. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python . Build reusable and scalable automation frameworks (PyTest/Robot Framework preferred). Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test plans. Perform automated regression, functional, and integration testing across web applications. Identify bugs, track them using tools like JIRA, and work with the development team to resolve them. Execute test cases as part of CI/CD pipelines and maintain test result documentation. Ensure high-quality software delivery within defined timelines. Required Skills: 3–4 years of proven experience in QA Automation with strong command over Selenium and Python. Hands-on experience in test framework design and script development. Knowledge of software testing lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with version control systems like Git. Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities. Good to Have: Exposure to API testing (using Postman, REST-assured, etc.). Experience working in short-cycle development environments. Familiarity with cloud-based test environments or Docker. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Show more Show less
