QA Automation engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and Selenium to join our QA team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of automation frameworks, scripting, and test lifecycle management, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using 

  Playwright

   and 

  Selenium

  .
• Create and manage reusable automation frameworks for web-based applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test cases suitable for automation.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects in detail.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure high-quality releases by minimizing manual testing effort through automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 

  3 years of hands-on experience

   in automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in 

  Playwright

   and 

  Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Experience with any programming language such as 

  Java, Python, or TypeScript

  .
• Familiarity with test management tools (like JIRA, TestNG, or Postman).
• Understanding of 

  CI/CD pipelines

   and version control tools (Git).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API automation testing.
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
