QA Automation Engineer

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Pune, India Experience: 4+ years Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, scripting, and modern testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test requirements. Implement and execute automated test cases using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright , etc. Develop and maintain test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar . Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development processes to ensure timely and high-quality releases. Optimize and enhance existing automation scripts for improved efficiency. Stay updated with the latest automation testing trends and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in QA automation and software testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar test automation frameworks . Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for writing test scripts. Strong experience in API automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate . Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD . Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, or LambdaTest . Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD/BDD). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized testing environments. Knowledge of AI/ML-based testing tools for automation.
